Attention Property Owners!!!
Do Not Sign any documents from the current board stating that Trepo is a HOA, It is NOT!!.
Trepo is a Non Mandatory POA. The current board continues making deceptive statements which are misleading many property owners, realtors, potential buyers and internet websites.
First of all I ask all followers of Jesus Christ Lord of All to pray for those currently on the board, that they may listen and do what’s right for all property owners and consider a resignation for the betterment of All property owners.
It’s very sad that they are being less than honest by forcing property owners in to signing documents for some imaginary non existent HOA , and should paying member refuse to sign they are then denied access to their deeded parks and rivers.
This is wrong in so many levels. Also when board members use the Columbia County Sheriff’s to remove paid members/property owners from the parks and in some cases arrest them for trespassing just because they may have disagreements with the current board chair(who happens to be related to the Sheriff) , totally out of line.
Pray for the board members please, if you are a God fearing followers of Jesus.
Pray guidance and ability to in love share the reasons to other fellow property owners, explaining why a new board with all new members needs to be formed.
Let’s lower the fees and grow the membership, so as many property owners as possible can join the POA. By getting back to basic access of parks. Removing any expenses that do not relate to simply gaining access to parks and rivers. For decades volunteers could do most of what needed done and many would like to volunteer but are not allowed anymore. If the POA worked just fine for many decades with no wifi, webpage, portajohns, park manager, hired lawyers, excessive office supplies expenses and so on, why not do it again? Let’s cut the fat and get back to basics.
